As the largest member-owned financial institution headquartered in Kern County, we are invested in our local community. Kern Schools is committed to continuing the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” by providing resources to student education, academic improvement, and financial literacy throughout our area.

Donation and sponsorship requests are considered based upon the following criteria:

  • Events and activities for tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Organizations located within Kern County.
  • Organizations and events, which improve the needs of our Members and the community.

Applying for donations or scholarships has never been easier. Simply download and fill out Donation/Sponsorship Request Form (PDF Form)

Completed requests, along with accompanying event information, may take up to thirty days for approval.

Contributions for the following requests will not be considered:

  • Political, partisan and religious organizations
  • Organizations or causes which do not impact the Kern Schools service area
