Accepted Items:

Advanced Data Storage

  • Personal Shred – limit of 3 bankers boxes, no business shred


  • Recyclables – cans, glass, plastics, newspapers, cardboard, books, magazines, telephone books and paper

ALIANZA Recycling and Recovery, LLC

  • eWaste – computer monitors and towers, computer mice, TV’s (all sizes), cell phones, telephones and radios

Bike Bakersfield

  • Gently used bicycles

R&S Recycling

  •  Non-working appliances

  • New and nearly new windows – wood, vinyl and aluminum
  • Interior/exterior doors – French doors, swing doors and sliders
  • Electrical fixtures, lights and fans
  • Tubs, toilets sinks, vanities and faucets
  • Kitchen cabinets and countertops
  • Working appliances and more!

  • Used shoes (Shoes will be donated or recycled depending upon condition)

Large Bulky Waste Collection:

  • Unusable Furniture: sofas, loveseats, chairs, tables, desks, shelving units, mattresses, bed frames, box springs and dressers
  • Unusable Appliances: washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, water heaters, microwave ovens and range tops
  • Unusable Outdoor Toys/Patio: lawn chairs, patio tables, patio chairs, large toys, grills and kiddie pools

NOT ACCEPTED: Light bulbs/fluorescent tubes, batteries, paint, medicine, cleaning supplies, styrofoam and oil.
